A Dress A Day

For 7 days.

It's my new challenge to myself. I'm going to wear a skirt or a dress everyday, starting tomorrow and ending next Sunday.

In my head, I love skirts and dresses. I like the way they look better than t-shirt and shorts. But for some reason, I tend to tell myself that when all my kids are about 2 or 3, then I will start wearing them everyday. But I want to change that!

I'm going to try to take a picture of my outfit everyday.

Now, for the disclaimer. I don't wear heels. They look great. But I can't walk in them. My outfits, although they will be skirts will still be very casual. I'm just a casual kind of girl.

Do you want to play along? If you do, tell me in the comments and I could try to figure our Mr. Linky or something like that, so we can see each other's outfits and get inspiration!

  1. I like that idea...I have a bunch of skirts that don't get worn much. I'm hoping they fit a little better soon too. I wish I could wear dresses right now, but not so easy when you're nursing a baby. Oh well. Next summer.
I am definitely a casual kind of girl too--flip flops for me until late fall.

  2. Well, I'm certainly down with the skirts. I wear one pretty much every day, unless I'm just hanging around the house in yoga pants. They are so much easier to fit nicely and I like the way I look in them much better. And it's great skirt-wearing weather these days, right?

When I clicked on your post, I was way confused because one of the other blogs I follow is A Dress A Day. She is a fashion/vintage/sewing blogger and she has this wonderful post about why skirts are superior to pants.

  4. I wear a dress or a skirt nearly every day. Though, I do have a deep affection for my jeans :)

There's just something about about a flowing skirt that makes me feel so feminine!
