I think so. I don't think her hair really looks that thick. The thing I've learned about bangs is to have them cut them long and then slowly shorten them if you think they are TOO long. Also, I always have a better bang result when styling w/ a flat iron as opposed to a curling iron. (FYI..my hair looks like I walked through a tornado today. I showered last night and have bed head today. So, maybe I'm not an expert after all ;) xoxo
How does anyone get their sideswept bangs to stay like that? I guess it's because she has a natural side part. Mine is in the middle no matter what. Is that how you part your hair normally? I bet it would work. But I really no nothing. I think you have great hair!
I had bangs like that for a while, but couldn't handle them. They are SO annoying! If you are okay with hair in your face and barely in your eyes constantly, then you could definitely do it. You don't need thick hair for it (I'm proof!). But if you get irritated with hair tickling your eyelids, then you won't be able to stand it. I had to clip them back every day until they grew out.
Am I missing something? I don't think her hair looks that thick, and I think the fact that your hair is stick strait would HELP those bangs look gorgeous. I have tried to do bangs something like that and my hair is too wavy. The whole effect of it is: "She didn't comb her hair today!"
you could totally do it. What would make it even more cool would be to do some high lights...it would make them look awesome!
you could totally pull them off. her hair is not thick at all. i would probably splurge for a 'spa' type (fancier) hair cutting place for the dramatic change. i am a 'great clips' girl for a trim, but if i am getting layers or bangs, i pay a little more to have someone with more talent and training cutting on me. i agree with the earlier comment to have them cut them longer at first... they can take more off, but can't really glue it back on!
Oh how I wish I could do bangs like that... you guys can't with curly hair! I think that you could totally do it! You would have to find the right stylist!

ReplyDeleteI love those too, but I know my hair is too thin. I couldn't pull it off. Hope you find something you like.
ReplyDeleteI think you could do it and I love her long layers. Are you up for that too? I think you need both for the look.

p.s. I think you could fix the problem Amber is talking about pretty easily - isn't it called hair gel?
